Band of the day: Linkin Park

Hello!
Here I am again. Today I'm a bit sick and I have a bit of a headache, but I wanted to post something to entertain myself, so here I am. I have decided to do a thing called "Band of the day" during six days, to talk about my six favourite bands and so on. Hope you enjoy.
Today I'm going to talk about what's probably the band that made me realize I loved rock/heavy metal music. Linkin Park.
I love this band. I don't even know what half of the members look like or are called, or how many albums they have. I don't know all of their songs, but I know many and I absolutely love their style. For me, their style has always been a mixture of rock and rap, and, although I don't really like rap, I love that mix, and I love the way they sing and play their instruments.
If I had to say what my favourite song is at the moment, I'd say Burn It Down or In The End, but I love all of them. I know the whole lyrics of every song I know, and I love their lyrics, mostly because the things they say are true in most cases, and they also say beautiful and meaningful things, despite their style. Those songs I said, Burn It Down and In The End, are some of the first Linkin Park songs I listened. I discovered that group thanks to a friend, who has introduced me to other groups, like Three Days Grace and also to anime and manga, two things I absolutely love. This friend sent me two Linkin Park songs; Breaking The Habit and Burn It Down, and I loved them. She continued sending me their songs, most of them from the album Living Things, and I  loved them. We lost contact a while ago, although we talk sometimes. It's sad, because I love her, but I haven't seen her in like four years, so I think it's a bit normal.
I have three Linkin Park albums at the moment; Meteora (my favourite one), A Thousand Suns and RECHARGED. I've been buying them with my own money, and I hope one day I'll have all their albums.

So, that's all. I hope I haven't bored you while talking about my personal life and blah blah blah, but it's something I love to do, and here I can express and say what I want, because, after all, it's my own blog, isn't it?

Hugs and kisses,
Lena >:)

I'm in love with this picture.
